Min wage is about $8.50 - $9.00 depending upon where live. As for what jobs are available for a college student...it depends what you studied. If you are still in college then you can work just about any job from slinging hash to serving coffee at Timmies to stocking shelves at Rona. Jobs are available if you are willing to work and want to look for them.

.
depends on which province, min wage is provincial jurisdiction

It does depend on what province/territory you are in. The lowest is $7.75 in New Brunswick, and the highest is $10.00 in Nunavut Territory. Ask which province/territory and I will answer. Hope this helps! :)

What do you mean by a "...normal..." job? A job is a job whether you are chief of thoracic surgery at a large teaching institute, a bartender, child care worker or a janitor.
If you are referring to minimum wage, then it varies from province to province although not by a huge amount.
