Canadian money is worth about 90 cents U.S.for every dollar, but it has been gaining and they predict that they soon will be equal in value. Other than than our money comes in dollar and two dollar coins ( nicknamed loonies for the dollar, because of the loon on the back of most of them, and the toonie for the two dollar coin). Our other denominations are in paper form. Also Canadian money is a lot harder to counterfeit than U.S. money with the different colors, and the holographic features ( although the U.S. has tried to prevent this with their new bills)

Canadian money is not worth as much as American money. The worth depends on the exchange rate.

US monies do not have beavers on it.

You will usually get an exchange rate of about $1.25 for each US dollar in Canada. But in reality, price adjustment mean you don't really get the full value difference.

The Canadian dollar is worth .8999 of $1 U.S. DOLLAR. In other words, about 10% less. Therefore, if you exchanged $10 U.S. dollars, you would get 11.11 Canadian dollars.

Here is a website for conversion: http://icurrency.net/passport/currency/currency.html

With the exception of Benjamin Franklin on the $100 bill, U.S. bills show past US Presidents. Canadian currency shows the Queen of England.

U.S. currency also has more anti-counterfeiting measures built into it. There are a lot of complicated patterns, colors, water-marks, etc. to make it easier to spot counterfeit money.

Not as much as there used to be :-)

Right now there isnt much in diffeence. The american dollar is worth a lil more. For an exchange you would get about $1.10 canadian money for every american dollar.

Deal with it!
value, color, the faces printed on the bills, dollar bills (US) vs. Canadian Loonie................

The value of the money differents. US money is worth more than Canadian money. Also, they look different. Canadian money has a queen on it, while American has our president.
