Oh my goodness, the Fall is the BEST!
The trees "turn colour" starting in mid-September right through til mid-October, and the brilliant reds, oranges & yellows are breathtaking. Driving through central & southern Ontario in the fall is like being on a different planet - your camera will get a real workout!
Most of the tourists have taken their children back to school, so it's not so crowded. All the biting insects like mosquitos & blackflies are gone, gone, gone! The days are generally still warm and nights are cool, parks are still open and there's plenty to see & do. Peak season has passed so the prices for hotels & travel are reduced. |

Depends on what you want to do.
If you like skiing and snow then come in the winter and head to the mountains in Alberta & BC. If you like to hike and see beautiful scenery, come in spring/summer and head to the mountains in Alberta and BC.
If you like seeing old architecture and old world charm, head to Quebec in the summer. If you love the ocean head to eastern Canada or BC during the summer.
It really does depend on what you like. |

It depends on what part of Canada you are going to visit. I have been both in summer and winter. In the Montreal area, I loved being there in the summer. The weather was great and there was lots to do. The winter was lots of fun because of all the underground shopping. Have fun. |

Summers are beautiful, beaches are great, scenery is magnificent. Winters can be beautiful as well. Fall has the colors of the leaves as they change and the new blooms of spring are a sight to behold. Anytime is great for a vacation to Canada. Activities will depend on the season but there is always something to do in all of them, so pick your favorite thing to do, the appropriate season and come visit the best country in the world. |

spring summer and fall are the best for the maritimes. in the spring when the colours just pop...all the different shades of green, the smell of the clean earth. In the summer, the beaches are gorgeous the water depending on where you are is warm (body surfing is great) In the fall when the leaves are different colours, and at least where I live its not quite so busy. You can hike, sightsee and tour during any of these seasons. |

I like the early fall (Indian summer) the leaves are changing colour and there are fewer bugs. The temperature at this time of year can go to 30 C or 15 C during the day and lower at night. The Macintosh apples are ripe and you just can't beat biting into a fresh Mac hearing that crucnh and the taste will knock you over it is sooooooo goooooodddddd |
