The spring and summer months are always good times to plan a visit to the beautiful Niagara Falls.

May should be nice. You might want to bring a sweatshirt, it might be cool especially in the evening.

If you are traveling by car, you don't need a passport. Just make sure that you have your Driver's License or State ID and a copy of your birth certificate. (They have never asked for mine when we've crossed the border, but better to have it just in case.)

I hope that this helps answer your question!

Any time is a good time. Many go in the summer, but actually winter is a good time too. The ice in the Falls is a marvellous sight. At night, the Falls are illuminated in the winter and it is a fantastic sight.

Take the "Maid of the Mist" tour near the Falls. It is great experience. Go the Niagara-on-the-Lake town too, and vist the many wineries in the area in summer.

Americans will need passports to visit Canada soon.

I would say go during the summer months because Canada gets very cold in the winter.

We went to Niagara Falls Canada last June. The weather was great - sunny but cool. If you are an American citizen, you will need a passport to visit the Canadian side effective this year.
(We are Americans and we went to Canada to visit my BIL and his family).

Late June is probably the best time to visit. You wil only need a passport if flying to Canada. If crossing the border by land, one is not necessary until January 2008.
