You know, I'm Canadian and have lived in Canada my whole life. Never ever have I ever heard anyone ever pronounce the word "out" or "about" as "aout" or "aboot".
Otherwise, when I think of a Canadian, I think of a fellow human being with ordinary thoughts, goals and ideas that are not really any different from anyone else's. I'm continually surprised at how shocked others are when they hear of someone from a different part of the world share experiences that are so similar to our own.
We have neighbours who are from Iraq and they have the same kinds of issues, goals, thoughts, plans and opinions as our other neighbours.
We're one planet.
We're one race.
We're all in this together.
