Go to a large bank that has an international currency counter. Try a bank where you have an account -- they will often waive the fee for bank members. Hotels frequently provide currency, depending upon the size of the hotel and it's location. I think that there are American Express offices world-wide that will also do currency conversion, but I believe that they also charge high rates. Do you have credit cards? Credit card companies often provide "best currency rate for the billing period" type of exchange rates, so... if you use your CC you will only pay the best rate for the period in which you charged. Have fun! |

ATM's normally have the best rates. Check with your bank to find out which one you can use. |
