What kind of job are you looking for? Are you a citizen with all your legal papers? and do you have any skills, the experience, education for the jobs you are looking at?
There are a lot of jobs if you have the necessary education and skills.

Drop off your resume at all the large hotels downtown. Also, apply at employment agencies (Kelly Services, Manpower, Adecco, etc) so that you get some work experience. If you can afford to do so, take some continuing education courses in the Hospitality and tourism field. This will look good on your resume.
