Mainly in British Columbia on the west coast.Often Vancouver has a green Christmas and many places on Vancouver Island too.But expect rain!
I am from Ontario originally and we only ever had one green Christmas there when I was a kid. |

Greg F is right. The west coast gets less snow. More rain, which I think is WAY worse! |

Your best chance of finding a "green Christmas" is the south Coastal Regions of British Columbia. Although we can have a white Christmas here a green Christmas is more likely. The Capital City of BC, Victoria, as it sits beside the ocean and Vancouver, which is the largest city in BC are your best bets or you may want to try one of the gulf islands. That is not to say that there could not be snow here for Christmas but your chances are higher here than in other parts of Canada. We live in a Coastal Rain Forest environment and, as a result, temperatures are generally a bit warmer. Most snow on the ground here seems to fall in late November and early December then it takes a break until January/February.
When I was younger (before global warming) I remember seeing roses blooming on Christmas Day. Of course the next year we had snow however it generally does not last long, especially on southern Vancouver Island (where Victoria is). You will generally see a lot of snow on the mountains but not too much, if any, on the ground. |

Most of southern BC will be OK and sometimes extreme southern Ontario or Toronto, but this is touch and go, 50/50 at best and not good green either. It'll be like 40 degrees and crappy outside. |
