Where can I find a white poppy (for Remembrance Day) in Toronto?

Thanks.
Additional Details
Hello? Anybody there?

I'm not asking about RED poppies. There's no need to. It's just a matter of going out and I'll be offered one. Since when is it difficult to ever procure a red poppy in Toronto in early November? I'm looking for a WHITE poppy, just as the question states.

I don't know where to find a white poppy, but if I could, I'd wear one too. If you google "white poppy", you will find reference to the fact that some people are looking for an alternative to a red poppy and what it signifies. I was telling a friend today that I would like to show my remembrance for our soldiers who lost their lives without supporting war. She said something about a white poppy. Upon googling "white poppy", I found the meaning is touted as remembering the soldiers and their sacrifice, but not supporting war of any kind.

It's a RED poppy. You can buy one in various random places, such as at the front entrance of stores or train stations. Often senior citizens and veterans sell them, I think it costs 25 cents but it's more of a donation to veterans than anything.

The Royal Canadian Legion owns the poppy trademark in Canada. The poppies are red. We know what a red poppy means.

Nobody knows what a white poppy means -- which is why the white poppy campaign organizers have had to put the word "PEACE" on the centre of the white poppies. The white poppy campaign is a disingenuous campaign as it presumes and insinuates that those who wear the red poppies are warmongers and against peace.

I don't know of any soldier or veteran who wants to go to war.

We wear red poppies in Canada -- any other colour is a trademark infringement.

as a white poppy means nothing in regards to remembrance day i doubt you will find one

From what I've read, your best bet is to contact some environmentally focused stores in the city. Maybe try some places like: Grassroots, MEC, Ten Thousand Villages.

Good luck.

White poppies don't have any significance for remembrance day. The poppy comes from the poem :"In Flanders Field", which beings,
In Flanders Field, the poppies grow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place.

But the poppies in the poem are red, not quite. That's why all the poppies the Legion sells and that people wear at this time of year, are red.
A white poppy is just decoration and has no meaning in regards to Remembrance Day.
