Visiting Canada is no different than trying to figure out what the amercians in the south are saying. Actually I think Canadians are easier to understand than some americans

if your going to quebec you will want a french dictionary....yet most Quebecious do speak english, which by the way is what the rest of us Canadians speak.

I'm very sorry your medication obviously needs adjustment but most of Canada is English speaking so bring lots of money.

That is funny - you are hilarious!

You won't need to learn English to communicate here - your American English is good enough for the people here to understand you!

Hey, what a good idea though, maybe after your visit to Canada, you could write one!

jon_mac_usa_007
Most of Canada speaks english, but some speak Frech.

we get plenty of Americans visiting Canada and there definately isn't be a language barrier. The only thing that some people don't understand is when peple say "Zee" instead of "Zed."

I was once spelling someone's name to an American Airlines agent on the phone and I kept saying "zed." She had absolutely no clue what I was saying and had to call the supervisor to decode!

You can find them at bookstores like barnes and noble or any other place like them or the library.

at a book store or on the internet

You don't really need a dictionary. Just add "eh" after every sentence and say "about" like someone just booted you in the butt. You'll be fine.
