Toronto is in Ontario. Ontario is the most populated province of Canada. Toronto is the Ontario's capitol city, and Ottawa, also in Ontario, is the Canadian capitol. 2/3 of all Canadians live in Southern Ontario, along Highway 401. Toronto is in Southeastern Ontario, located on Lake Ontario and is about a 1 and half hour drive from Buffalo, New York. It is the most populated Canadian City and is most similar to Chicago, Illinois. |

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Ontario is north of New York State and Michigan, east of Manitoba and west of Quebec. Specifically, Toronto is on the north coast of Lake Ontario, only a couple of hours drive from the American border (The closest border is near Buffalo). |
