Where in Canada is the best nightlife/social scene during winter? Apart from Vancouver?

I am a chillout muscian and looking for young nightlife in Canada but dont want to go to Vancouver just yet. Montreal seem's interesting.

I was just gonna say Montreal, LOL! Stay away from Eastern Ontario...shudder.

Montreal or Toronto would be good choices. But I'd pick Montreal for a few reasons.

1/ You asked for a young nightlife so drinking age in Quebec is 18 vs Ontario where it is 19.

2/ Montreal (I believe) still has happy hours and drink specials. It's not as common in Ontario because of stricter laws.

3/ French Chicks are hot :)

Any of the Ski resorts - Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper... that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Montreal and Toronto are always good picks. In winter, the
ski resorts have potential, & my friends tell me that Halifax
has become a trendy place to visit. Good Luck

I live in Vancouver and love it...but I have heard that Montreal is the place to be..but it's cold in the winter there.

Toronto and Montreal.

Sorry you don't want to go to Vancouver just yet. It's by far the most interesting and the most fun. However, Toronto is likely second best, and Montreal is a possibility. One really lively town that is often overlooked is Calgary.

Cool one, cat, I'm from Detroit, Mich, USA, and for the best place
in Canada to jam & groove, you should think about Windsor,
Ontario, Canada, got some sweet clubs there, and you can always slip across the border to sample the Motor City's as well, dude. You can have TWO nations' worth of chill and some
neat clubbing.
By the way, so sorry about your mate, Steve Irwin, a REAL
chillout kind of guy.

Go for Montreal...there's always something new to try - whether the newest club or a music festival. It's close proximity to the Laurentians and the Eastern Townships means there's ton's of ski resorts within an hour or two. And you can always head to Quebec City for Carnival. Though a word of warning...make sure that you pack some warm clothing.

Banff, but it's also the STD capital of Canada...drink wisely!

Old Montreal, people from all over the world converge there, amazing time, from what I remember.

The answer is TORONTO, TORONTO, TORONTO
Where else can u find a club that will hold 10,000 people in one night!!!
Just think about it- 10,000 young bodies all in one club at the same time. PARTY, PARTY PARTY, Actually we have two clubs that hold 10,000, both at the waterfront of the city. Then there is the club district of Toronto on Richmond street. For blocks just clubs for the young.
Met some people from New York and they said to me " We have never seen anything like this!! We don't have clubs like this in New York".
These comments are coming from our friends in the USA
So come to Toronto and you be the judge!!
