Wow people sure don't know their provincial capitals judging by the answers you got!

British Columbia (Victoria);
Alberta (Edmonton);
Saskatchewan (Regina);
Manitoba (Winnipeg);
Ontario (Toronto);
Québec (Québec City);
New Brunswick (Fredericton);
Nova Scotia (Halifax);
Prince Edward Island (Charlottetown);
Newfoundland and Labrador (St. John's);
Yukon Territory (Whitehorse);
Northwest Territory (Yellowknife);
Nunavut Territory (Iqaluit).

Ottawa, Ontario is the National Capital of Canada

The only place that might have snow this time of year is Nunavut.

Okay. Capital cities only, but with snow? You say you are going soon -- does that mean next month, August? Or some time in the future?
It makes a difference, because at this time of year, very few of the capital cities have snow. In a few months, they'll all have snow.
If you're determined to see snow, your best bet is to go to Calgary, which is the capital of Alberta, then head out to the Banff Ice Fields, which are a couple of hours drive away. There, they have snow 365 days a year.
If you visit Vancouver, in British Columbia, you will be close to Whistler, which also has glacier snow, and is only a 90 minute drive away. Vancouver isn't the capital of BC, but it is the largest city in that province. The capital is Victoria, on Vancouver Island, which has one of the most moderate climates in Canada and almost never has snow.
Ottawa, Canada's capital, is a fascinating place. Lots of history, lots of monuments, and it's right across the river from Hull, Quebec, which is a typical french-canadian village.
There are so many great places to suggest, but your search for snow is a little daunting at this time of year!
However, enjoy your visit. If you can't find it anywhere else, there is always a skating rink with a snowpile out back....

CX
Will that's hard to answer, because all of the capitol cities of Canada have something to offer,but I'll list one of the places

Toronto,Ontario-Of coarse you'd have to vist the CN tower when your in Canada,and the only way to do this is to go to Toronto.There are lots of other fantastic things you can do while in Toronto,but this is a Must do.

redfox
go to quebec city. it's full of history, and you'll get a few sides of the story- french , maybe english, hopefully matee/ aboriginal. what story? the story of canada! our history, our people- in quebec you have a grand meeting place of many things uniquely canadian. it also has a great olde quebec/new quebec feel, so you can catch a glimpse of time, as well as culture. It is a place where much of our history was shaped, the effects of which can still be felt today....look it up.

Aside from the Arctic, there is no snow in Canada except on the peaks of the Rocky Mountains in the west. Canada is over 3,000 miles long and there are capital cities in each of the provinces. For an enjoyable vacation each of those cities would do the trick. Your question needs to be expanded on more to be of some help. If it's snow you want, this is the wrong time of year. Postpone your vacation until January and any of the capital cities with the possible exception of Victoria, British Columbia would have lots of snow.If I were a tourist coming over this time of year, I would start in Halifax, Nova Scotia and work my way west or if you are in Asia, start in Victoria and head east.

superwoman
toronto (my cousin lives there and she says its lovely - especially in winter as they get loads of snow!!)

Victoria, British Columbia....our beatuiful capital is rich in history,beautiful kept and right on the ocean, great night life and dining....lots to see and do

ratface29
What do you mean by "soon"? You won't find snow in any of Canada's cities any time in the next few months. Edmonton or Ottawa might see some flakes in October or November. But if it is snow you want, wait until January or February. We've got lots then. We'll even let you take some of it home with you! Especially if you take it from my driveway!!!

Paddy
Make sure and visit Niagara on the Lake, a few minutes drive from Niagara falls, The Falls area is very "Touristy" if you like that kind of thing.
If you can go west to vancouver, Jasper, Bannf etc..

Chocoholic
ok, u have to go to toronto!!!!!!! it's so pretty and romantic and has breath taking views..... go and see the cn tower!! if u love sport then also go here. use this expedia guide on canada and choose were u want to go. oh... also, go to wonderland theme park, it's soooooooo much better than going to alton towers or thorpe park. it has 100% higher scream factor

AHAHAHA you want to go somewhere in Canada soon that has snow already! you are joking right? the only places that may have snow would be way WAY up north like yellowknife, iqualuit, or whitehorse. and im not even sure that those capitals will have snow. I would suggest going to Victoria BC though. If you want snow your gunna have to come in the winter though sorry!

arun
Canada is in North America. The capital cities you can go to are Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver & Quebec city
