St. John's is on the east coast of the island of Newfoundland, the capital of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is on the Avalon Peninsula, and not far from Cape Spear, which is the most easterly point of North America.

Saint John is in New Brunswick. It is in the southwestern part of New Brusnwick, not far from the US border at Calais/St. Stephen.

The maps at these links will show you the location of each city. Best of luck.

St. John's is the provincial capital of Newfoundland and Labrador and located on the eastern side of Newfoundland. Whereas St. John (with no " 's ") is a city on the coast of New Brunswick.

Saint John is in New Brunswick (for goodness sakes spell it out!)

St. John's is on the lovely island of Newfoundland.

St-John's is situated in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador on the eastern part of Canada, not to be confused with St-John which is in the province of New Brunswick and also on the eastern side of the country.

Saint John, New Brunswick is often confused with St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The latter is pronounced sinJOHNS. Kissing the cod is a local tourist initiation; seal flipper pie a local culinary delight.
