Since you like to jog, you should move to a place with milder winters. Therefore, the Okanagan Valley (Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, etc.) or Vancouver (Surrey, North Vancouver, Richmond, etc.) or Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo.

However, since you like big cities, and depending on your definition of big cities, you'd probably be happiest in Vancouver. But Victoria and Kelowna are also fairly large by Canadian standards.

Hi,
Rachael Ray just did one of her $40 a day tv shows on the food network about Montreal. I've never been there but she says it's her favorite city in Canada. She showed quite a bit about it's history, restaurants, shopping, etc. Looked really nice.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
About a quarter million people live there, so big, but not too big. Has everything. Beautiful city.

montreal is the best. quebec is canada's most liberal and progressive province, and montreal is a large, multiculltural and billingual city.

Near the border. You get a lot of good deals, as American's often travel there, and back. All of the land is beautiful, but just in case you need to come back for a visit, you'll have faster, easier access. Michigan has nicer police, too! LOL

Niagara Falls , you have 20 km of jogging along the Niagara river on the parkway trail, good for rollerblading and biking too. Now with two casinos there are always jobs, summer and winter. Before we where mostly quiet in the winter, but with the festival of lights,Nov.and Dec.,and eiswine fest in Jan. always something to do. Wish you all the best in starting a new phase in your life.Good luck.
