Because of the 18 year old thing, go to Lake Louise, Alberta.
It's beautiful.

Anywhere in BC .
Whistler is of course world class but with crowds and prices to match. If you want to morer unique destination with some awesome powder and excellent facilities you should consider going to the Interior of BC. Fly into Vancouver, rent a car and within 5 hour drive there are dozens to choose from some with vertical drops bigger than whistler/blackcomb

Google these places
Revelstoke, BC
Big White Kelowna. BC
Silver Star by Kamloops BC

I'd recommend going to Banff, Alberta. Some hotels there have shuttlebusses that will take you to some of the best skiing in Canada.

For skiing, there is Lake Louise which has hosted several Canadian and world ski competitions.

You also have Sunshine Village, a fantastic ski resort in the general same vicinity:

And there is Norquay:

All of these are into the spring skiing season, so you would probably have some nice temperatures and still have the fresh or machine groomed powder.

If you are thinking of for next year, I would looks at these ski hills or at Whistler, BC. Anytime between November and March is pretty much ski season across Canada, although you have a better chance of getting good snow during January-February.

If you are looking for a place to party, have drinks, and enjoy the slopes, you probably want Whistler. Banff is a pretty quiet little tourist town so any excitement would have to take place an hour away in Calgary.

The other option is partying on the east coast, such as in Montreal or Quebec City area. North of Montreal you have the Mont Tremblant resort (sadly in the news recently because of the tragedy with Natasha Richardson) and near Quebec City is the Mont Ste. Anne ski hill. Both have towns near them that either offer a great nightlife, or have a lot of things to do in the area.

Hello.

Alberta is suggested because the legal drinking age is 18, unlike BC which is 19. Good resorts are Sunshine, Lake Lousie and Nakiska.

For time of year, Alberta gets dumped with snow from late November to Mid March.

I live and work in Banff National Park and the skiing is fantastic! The drinking age is 18.

Sometimes it is not just about the skiing but about the people that you go with. Choose a location, make sure it is for the right drinking age and have fun!

Turbo Lag
If you are going to travel that far to go skiing, then I wouldn't bother with anywhere in Quebec.

Go west, the BC or Alberta.

North of 49
There are many places from Whistler , North Vancouver, Banff, Jasper to Quebec (Where the actress: Richardson was killed two weeks ago).
It depends who you talk to and their needs as everyone has a difference of opinion which is "the best".
