I have been all over Canada and there are many good points about each of the cities that you have listed. However I wouldn't choose to go to either. Winnipeg is kind of isolated. Edmonton is close to some of the more beautiful parts of Canada (like the Rockies), but things are some what expensive. Toronto is a very multicultural city and there is a lot of opportunity there, yet it can sometimes become a bit of a headache, and during the summer to pollution can get really bad.
I would like to point out Ottawa. It's the capital of Canada and has lots of opportunity. There are a wide range of schools, activities, and nightlife. It's also close to Montreal (2 hours away, maybe less depending how fast you drive). Montreal has some good shopping. Ottawa is also close to Toronto (about 4 hours away) so if you do want to experience the thick city life you can. The people in Ottawa are very kind, respectful and come from all parts of the world. I would give it a shot. |

I don't really have an opinion on what is best. I guess where ever has the best opportunities, and attraction for you. If you do move into Toronto however, there are some nice suburbs (I don't live there but I have been there many times). Scarborough is very close, and a lot less costly than living near downtown Toronto. |

Toronto by far, lots of entertainment, nightlife, restaurants, museums etc. Don't know how cultural you are, but that's what I would look for. The weather is pretty decent too. Good luck! |

I think that toronto would be the best place to move. My mom went on vacation there and said that it was a really nice place and very clean. |

I would say Edmonton. It all depends what you want in a city and the area of the country. |

Toronto - lots of jobs and cold winters. Hot humid summers. Housing prices are insane.
Edmonton - lots of jobs and colder winters, though dry. Warm dry summers. Housing is reasonable
Winnipeg - jobs but less of them, insanely cold winters and moderate summers. Housing is cheap
Vancouver - jobs are there but it takes longer to find good ones - mild winters by Canadian standards and reasonably nice summers. Housing is almost as insane as Toronto
La - tons of jobs - no winter, hot dry summers and insane housing prices.
I lived near Toronto for three years and then in Edmonton when growing up and the southern Ontario winters are harder to take than those in Edmonton. Myself, I preferred Vancouver and lived there for 20 years before moving to LA seven years ago. |

depends if ur the BIG CITY kidna person Toronto is evolving into a New York kind of a place (personally those kinds of cities are just to visit and not to live in for me) but your choice!
Edmonton is not as exicting but its a safe, fun place with good a good university! I would suggest Calgary because it has its own culturee..with the Calgary stampede etc. |
