Where should I go on a romantic getaway?

My boyfriend and I want to plan a trip for our one yr anniversary. The problem is we can't decide where to go. I was thinking Canada-Montreal, Toronto, Quebec or Vancouver would be nice. We'd like to go someplace fun, romantic and full of neat things to see. Any ideas?

Tofino, BC. It's absolutely gorgeous and incredibly romantic in any season. But, I prefer it in the winter when there aren't as many people there and you can storm-watch. You can check out the amazing beaches and the old-growth rainforest. If you go in the summer, there is surfing and whale watching. There are both bed and breakfasts and luxury resorts in Tofino. And, depending on the length of your trip, you can check out Victoria and Vancouver, too.

You might consider Niagara-on-the-Lake

If you are under 30, you'll probably have fun on a cruise to mexico. Royal Carribean has some good deals, and is the best for young people...I went on one that left Los Angeles, went to Ensenada and some other places for 4 nights...

I prefer Quebec City over Montreal, and Toronto over Vancouver.

There are some really nice locations in the area just north of Toronto. Here are some websites.

I am assuming you are looking for places in CANADA.
I think Quebec city is lovely. Montreal also is lovely. Gaspe/Perce is gorgeous too. Niagara falls is an obvious, somewhat tacky romantic place (but sometimes that is the fun of it.). In Niagara we stayed in the embassy hotel...there luxury sweets are very romantic and if you let them know it is your anniversary they will leave you gifts. :)
There are many great places to go, but i think YOU TWO will need to supply the romance. Good luck and Happy anniversary!

The Rocky Mountains of Alberta. Jasper, Kananaskis or even down in Waterton are wonderful. There are a lot of wonderful things to do and a lot to see

Well the place you have in mind speaks the same language as the place you really should go. There's a hint. OK, here it is. PARIS! Duh....Bonjour? Most romantic place on the planet! Bon Voyage!

Quebec city gets my vote.
