Thats a fantastic situation to be in, Im jealous!!
I think to get a better answer you should give more details about what you are after in a country - what weather do you prefer, culture, what do you want to do with your spare time, are you an indoors or outdoors person, what are your interests, etc.
I live in Australia and sooooooo many people who come here want to stay forever. Im not saying this because Im biased as Im not an overly patriotic person, but Im merely suggesting it as an option to consider. |

Canada is a fantastic place to live and is a lot more sane than the US, despite what your first poster says. Depends on what kind of lifestyle you are looking for, but try the west coast...Vancouver is a gorgeous city with everything available: mountains, ocean, fabulous shops and restaurants, cool people. Vancouver Island has many of the same amenities with a much more relaxed pace if you want to slow it down a notch. The winters are a lot shorter over here than back east, too, and normally consist of rain instead of piles of snow.

I worked for a little while in Birmingham (north of Detroit) and now permanently live in Toronto, Canada.
I have a friend who lives in Detroit but parties in Toronto as he likes to be able to have fun in the city without a worry of bad crime or having to go back to the burbs to live. |

It depends on what physical climate you're looking for. The U.S. is similar to Canada regarding government, so maybe after you decide which climate you like you might want to move to the U.S.
If you want to get away from the political climate...Maybe Australia...they have many climates to choose from as well.
Good luck! That's wonderful that you have so many choices available to you! |
