Where to vacation in Canada?

My family and I would like to have a vacation in Canada. We are into hunting, and fishing but don't want to base our entire vacation on them. Any cabin rentals or some kind of lodge would be great. We live in Ohio (US) and would prefer it be under $1500 US Dollars. Any ideas? 10 points to best answer.

Hey i would definitely suggest Kamloops British Columbia. You'll spend a lot of time outdoors if you visit Kamloops between May and October thanks to almost always warm and sunny conditions and an attractive landscape. As outdoor activities go, the area is probably best known for its fishing opportunities - there are more than 200 lakes within an hour's drive of the city. Golfing and birding are also popular, while the area is a prime spot for kayaking, canoeing, river rafting, mountain biking, fossil hunting and rock hounding.

Here is a great place you could stay

Roche Lake Resort
Roche Lake Rd
Kamloops, British Columbia
V2C 5L7

Log chalets with fireplaces, full kitchens, private baths; seasonal pool, hot tub; licenced dining; games room; lounge; store; tackle, boats, motors, licences; hiking & mountain biking trails; fishing; meeting room; airport pickup. Birdwatchers & photographers paradise!

Here are the rates for the chalets:
Lodging Rates (subject to change): $143.00 - $158.00

Hope i helped if you do decide to visit Kamloops which i strongly suggest you do please visit this website it will help you out so much i promise helllobc.com (this site will help because it has maps and things you could do)

I found the cabins on the site to so they are fully legal and clean places.

Banff, Alberta!!! It's the most beautiful place in the whole country. Lots of outdoors-y stuff to do, lots of lodges.

Toronto. Yes, it is like a little new york, however its bout a 2 hour drive to provincail parks and you can visit some realy interesting places in the city, like the CN tower(the tallest structure in the world)

euges429
Toronto would be a great idea. A large metropolis with a small-town feel, but within 3 hrs. drive from a lot of nature and provincial parks, where you can hunt, camp and just get away from the city. Check out this website to plan your visit to Toronto!
