Where would you recommend living in Toronto? ? |
Hi, my wife and I are going to move to toronto. Where would you recommend living? We want to be close to the nightlife, budget of 1000-1400, but want a good area. I have been told that The beaches and Eglington are good areas. Do you know what websites to look at for apartments? Also are there any more job sites apart from monster and job serve? Thanks!! |

When I lived in TO a long time ago the beaches were a great area to live. I would also recommend the High Park area and Davisville & Young areas too. If you are going to look at the High Park area I would look south of Bloor in between Parkside drive and Roncenvalles (sp) ave. lots of old house and the neighbourhoods were generally quiet and transit to the nightlife was easy. |

The beaches is super crowded and very overpriced. Try Bloor West Village (around Jane and Bloor up to High Park and Bloor ) and it is easily accessible to downtown and nightlife. |

With that small of a budget, up in Newmarket. Other than that, keep dreaming. Not sure why you would want to move here though; it's basically the cesspool of Canada. |
