Vancouver. Big city feel, by the waterfront, vibrant youth community as a result of the university... the closest you'd get to NYC in Canada is Toronto, I suppose. I really love Halifax because of its great music and cultural scene, but it doesn't offer that "big city" feel. |

I think you should move to Whistler, Canada. There is plenty of fresh air, and who doesn't like a relaxing mountain town? |

I'd go anywhere on the west part of Canada. The eastern part of Canada is pretty big on French. |

I'd move to Calgary - fastest growing city in Canada People are more friendly than in other larger cities in Canada and you're so close to the mountains for skiing and summer activities. |

Hmm Windsor Ontario is a good city that's not too big but big enough. It is right beside a lake so yes there is a beach also if you ever feel like going back to the US the Detroit border is right there. |

You could choose Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. I grew up in Vancouver and moved away but it's so expensive now that I can't afford to move back. Nobody is rude in Canada (although you might get a bit of a hard time in Montreal for not speaking French). The New York feel is definitely more Toronto than anywhere else in Canada (and you can actually hop on the Greyhound bus from there and visit NYC). Good luck to you. |
