Massina NY is the first city by the US boarder when you take the Cornwall bridge to get to the states an hour south of Ottawa to get to Cornwall

Syracuse is the largest city, only three hours away. Ogdensburg and Watertown are closer, only about 2 hours away.

I have family in Ottawa and the only city nearby is Montreal.

Burlington, VT is somewhat close, but I don't really know or how far you want to drive.
