Ontario is super cold in the winter and can be too hot in the summer. For less extreme weather Vancouver is the place. It's truly beautiful, fun, friendly, clean, diverse, and the summers are very comfortable, the rest of the year is chilly but usually not below freezing. Victoria is another option, or anywhere in the area if you're looking for a smaller town.

If you don't want to experience any cold you'd probly want to go to Vancouver or Victoria BC they usualy have the warmest weather year round. I prefer Nova Scotia, I love the Halifax area the city always has something going on and it's not too big of a city. I also like the Lunenburg, Bridgewater, & Mahone Bay area. There's so much culture there, and it's such a beautiful area.

If you don't want the cold winters you should go to Southern BC known as "The Okanagan" the winters are milder, the scenery beautiful, winters not as bad as say Edmonton where the cold is Bitter in winter, or Ontario where you get heaps of snow, (a drag to shovel)

i would recommend Ontario because its great. the Toronto area is nice. There's lots of things to do and it's not cold all year round like people say but the winters are horrible. It seems like it lasts forever. But thats the only downside to living here. Its very multicultural and lots of social events such as Caribana and much more. Lots of attractions such as Canada's Wonderland, Little Italy, The CN Tower, African Lion Safari, Niagara Falls and much more.
Hope I answered ur question!!

Southern Ontario doesn't get HORRIBLY cold, although this winter it did get dumped on a lot with snow (normally it's just a few feet at most). Northern Ontario does get a lot colder, and does get more snow. (Ignore anyone who thinks that it's always cold here - they're quite wrong and should stay away from our country!)

Take a look at a map, and you'll see that many of the provinces are very large and therefore have a wide variety of weather over the year. The geography is so diverse that it also changes the conditions a lot from province to province. BC has some very cold areas too, but generally has more mild winters than most of Ontario.

Winters aren't so bad that you curl up in a ball and cry, they just get annoying after 3 months and you want the spring already. Our summers (in Ontario) can get very hot too! Cities tend to get all smoggy and humid in Southern Ontario. BC tends to get a lot of fires in some areas, and also gets smoggy. Don't just worry about the cold, think about the heat too - we're not in winter all year! Fall is beautiful across the country.

I've lived in both southern and northern Ontario and to be honest, I like the variety in the seasons. I don't like southern Ontario because it's becoming infested with far too many people for my liking, so I've been heading more north. I've heard that the Vancouver area has also begun to become extremely populated.

It depends on what type of community/city you like, and if you like having four full seasons. I've heard from so many people that Newfoundland is beautiful, but that it's tough to find a job there. So if you're looking to move, it depends strongly on what you do, what type of population you like and weather you prefer. Also take a look at what you can afford, as some areas (Toronto, Vancouver) have skyrocketing property prices.

I'm happy in Northern Ontario, and gladly endure winters. The payoff of being in nature, and surrounded by lakes. Well worth the trade-off for those few months of the year where it's snowy!

That is more personal preference, but my favorite is either British Columbia or Alberta. Probably British Columbia though. I have visited all the southern provinces and for myself personally Quebec is too rude, Ontario is too Americanized, and Manitoba and Saskatchewan really have nothing there. Alberta's southern half is grasslands, and you have two major citys. I believe in a working aspect there is more money made in Alberta than the other provinces especially up by Ft Mcmurray where the oil sands are. But overall my pick would be British Columbia because of all the mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and lakes not to mention the ocean and its islands. I would visit before you committ but as I said before its more personal preference. I plan to move there soon. Its a great place to raise a family. Canadians in general are extremely nice people (outside of Quebec). You will be suprised when you go up there. Its almost a culture shock. Just keep in mind that with our dollar being so weak its almost a 20% mark up on everything once you get out there, because they make so much money.

Ontario. Because I used to have a pen-friend who lived there.

It was about 45 - 50 years ago, but it sounded fantastic. Seemed so clean and open and unspoiled.
