Canada is a bilingual country with English and French as two official languages however QUEBEC is the "ONLY" Canadian province with a PREDOMINANTLY FRENCH speaking population and the only one whose sole official language is FRENCH at the PROVINCIAL level

Ive traveled to B.C.,Ontario,Saskatchewan,Alberta,Manito... and Quebec I had no problems with English they all speak English..I even made my way around Quebec (everything is in French there) I was always able to find someone that spoke English.

candleduck
Ok well outside of Quebec, New Brunswick and all three territories. All of them. new Brunswick is the only province in Canada that is officially bi-lingual. Quebec is Uni-lingual, although you can live in Montreal and not speak French.

All cities except the cities in Quebec. Quebec is the only province that is predominantly French speaking. The rest of Canada is English Canada.

J'aime la natation!
All of them except any in the province of Quebec. You may be surprised to find out that all the 'facts' you've learned about Canada are most likely not true.

I ♥ TOFU
Pretty much all of the french speaking cities are in quebec. So anywhere else should be english. But i wouldnt recommend moving to toronto. Lots of traffic!

English is the main language all over Canada, even in Quebec. MAYBE a few little towns in Quebec are mostly French, but you can get by with English even there. Hell all over Europe you can get by with English.

go ducks!
quebec is the only place that speaks french. In western canada, where I live nobody can speak a damn word of french LOL. So yeah just avoid quebec

nyninchdick
With the exception of Quebec City and Montreal, all the larger cities in Canada are primarily English. However, you also need to consider things like lifestyle choices (such as cultural amenities), climate, cost of living, career opportunities, etc. Canada is a big country, and the French speaking majorities are generally only in Quebec. Besides, don't let something like not knowing French stop you - its an easy language to learn - thousands of Quebecois babies learn it every year!

MasterPython
Pretty much every city outside the province of Quebec. Even in Quebec most people speak English.

.
u can't move here ...fyi only quebec speaks french
