Montreal has a great nightlife and good universities.
although it is really difficult to get into mcgill.

Vancouver is pretty rockin.
Good schools, good pubs, and it's close to Whistler so you can do some extreme mountain biking in the summer, and snowboarding/snow mobiling in the winter.
You can also get a short flight to Banff to go snowboarding at sunshine village and visit Lake Louise.

Vancouver has freaking brilliant shopping too! Argh. I miss Canada!
