West End of Calgary or Lethbridge, AB. You see the Rocky Mountains int he distance and foothills to. It's like you're looking at the spine of the continent.

View of what ?

The large cities have plenty of views of other high-rises and
concrete.

If you looking for views of mountains would have to be ANY
city in British Columbia /Western Alberta

Views of prairies and wide open spaces/skies would be Saskatchewan/Manitoba

Views of oceans...East coast of Canada or West Coast

and on and on...................

Of the larger cities in Canada, Vancouver is the most picturesque. It has been considered among the top five most beautiful cities in the world! And in a 2004 CNN survey was voted the most livable city in the World.

Vancouver has waterways everywhere, and mountains to the north, as well as the mountains on the Islands. Everything is green, and they have a wonderful park system, including one of the largest urban parks in the world (Stanley Park).

I hear some of the cities in the maritime provinces are also very beautiful, but I have yet to see them for myself.

Anything by an ocean (east or west) is spectacular. Vancouver has the ocean and mountains. St John's has the ocean and the rolling hills of a beautiful green province. There are the prairies and the Canadian Shield. No matter where you go the view is breathtaking.
