Of the larger cities in Canada, Vancouver is the most picturesque. It has been considered among the top five most beautiful cities in the world! And in a 2004 CNN survey was voted the most livable city in the World.
Vancouver has waterways everywhere, and mountains to the north, as well as the mountains on the Islands. Everything is green, and they have a wonderful park system, including one of the largest urban parks in the world (Stanley Park).

Anything by an ocean (east or west) is spectacular. Vancouver has the ocean and mountains. St John's has the ocean and the rolling hills of a beautiful green province. There are the prairies and the Canadian Shield. No matter where you go the view is breathtaking. |
