Drive north to city of Detroit, Michigan to enter Windsor, Ontario,Canada the distance between Detroit and Windsor is 2 miles it takes about 8 mins.

I would say that would have to be Detroit...unless you count Anchorage Alaska as a major city

You can go north from Detroit to Windsor Ontario. There are actually quite a few US cities that are north of Canadian ones. Several Maine towns and cities are north to New Brunswick ones for example, but none so 'major' as Detroit.

The Alaskan Highway heads south from Fairbanks, Alaska into BC where it becomes Highway 97 in Dawson Creek, BC. Mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway is found in Dawson Creek.
