I did not vote Conservative last time, and will not be doing so again. And being a federalist in Quebec, I won't be voting for the Bloc either. Essentially, that leaves me to choose between the NDP candidate and the Liberal, since the other parties are not ones I want running the country, and they don't stand a chance on getting elected anyway.

That leaves me with voting the way I think most Canadians should vote...Pick the person in your riding who you feel will look out for YOUR riding's interests. And if you don't know the candidates, then pick the party leader that you believe in the most and vote for his/her candidate.

NDP. It's the only political party that just makes sense.

I'm not really sure yet - I actually JUST found out today that I can vote in my universities riding, which is a much closer contest than back home, where the NDP win every time. So I feel like either way I vote, it'll MATTER more here.

But I can't decide. I think Harper is a tool and disagree with many conservative policies anyway. So they're completely out. And I don't really think the Green has a legitimate chance. Nor are they cohesive enough in anything but environment to get my vote. So it's really down to the NDP and Liberal candidate. My problem is I can't really help but feel like the race between the Liberals and Conservatives is far to close to give my vote to a third party. But they can never become anything more than a third party unless we change the midset that's it's EITHER liberals or conservatives. So I'm still thinking really. I'm hoping to hear more from the candidates before I decide.

Neither riding has a communist party. Not that I'd vote them anyway. The NDP are about as socialist as I lean.

Although last month when I first moved to Ontario and being driven crazy by the self-centeredness of the GTA I gave serious consideration to throwing my vote to the WCC. Bahahaha. What a joke. I've mellowed.

well, if i could vote, it would be Liberal.

it may have gone NDP, but not after the fiasco with the Marijuana candidates in BC... i'm just preparing myself for another few years of American governing... whoops, i mean Conservative...

Happy
Oh Canadians, I am not Canadian but please vote for the Liberals. Stop the Conservatives from ruining your country. Please remember the last conservative majority, the state of your economy at that time.

Generally, we don't disclose who we are voting for. It's a secret ballot, you know.

I am going to vote NDP for sure.
I just dont agree with the Conservatives at all.
The Liberals need to grow a spine and have some values and morals - they only care about getting re-elected, or just elected for that matter.

MIka
There's so many people who say they don't want to vote green or NDP (not necessarily on Yahoo! Answers, people where I live and probably across the country) because they feel like these parties don't stand a chance so they're pretty much just throwing their votes away. I feel the same way..but I'm going to vote for who I want to win anyways. If everyone voted for who they want to run the country and not who looks like they have a chance at winning..then green or NDP could actually get a minority gov. So many people are going to vote liberal because they don't want to vote conservative but don't want to 'throw their vote away' Damn it people just vote for who you want in!
I'll be voting green.

The other parties plans seem to include me being out of work and broke when they throw a monkey wrench in oil production and raise taxes.
