Who has been in the CN Tower and what do you do up there than look out to take a nice view of the city?

I have been up the CN Tower and it's not boring up there if thats what you're wondering. I remember there being a little shop for souvenirs and food. You can walk all the way around and take in a beautiful view of the city. You can see the big baseball stadium and possibly watch a game. There are microscopes you can see through. And of course the famous glass floors. The only part of the floor that has not been covered by carpet so you can stand on it and look straight down....scary! But seriously you can spend so much time just doing that.

I have been in the CN Tower twice, once under it's CN management and last year. The amount of view you can see with the standard ticket is much less now than it was then. Also, the original ticket included a wireless sound wand which could give you recorded information when you got close to the viewing windows. Finally, they allowed you to see the view in the restaurant to for free to see the view there. All of that has since been changed.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago. You have choices when purchasing your ticket depending on what you want to do. I would recommend purchasing the added ticket that includes the level above the observation deck. We found the view up there better and less crowded. The glass floor is included in the regular obs. price. We found the security check interesting. They make you step into a device that blows air all around you to check for explosives. It looks similar to the metal detectors you walk through at the airports, but you have to stand until they tell you to exit and you have air blown all around you.

That's all you do at the top is look out at the city and Lake Ontario and maybe down into the Rogers Centre.

there is a great restaurant about 300 metres up. it rotates around the tower so you get a full panoramic view.

plus the food is fantastic. if you have the guts, there is a glass floor which you can look down at the city. (don't worry it can hold 16 full sized hippos, [I dont know how i know that])

you can walk on the glass floor, eat something at the restaurant, and the elevator feels pretty cool too!!

you freak out over the glass floor.
oh and u can have a meal at the rotating restaurant, but it's okay, not spectacular, and kinda pricey.

there is also a restaraunt called the 360. ot rotates around as u eat. there are other things that u can do. there are activities at the base and top of the tower.

Depends on what kind of weather's around. On some summer days, all you see is smog. (Doesn't look like it this year though...)

That's about all you can do...the view isn't spectacular, the glass floor is ok and the restaurant middling at best. Those big buildings are all about the view and the CN Tower isn't well placed for a good view of the city.
