Canada...by far....
Better country, better people, friendly, clean, better hockey, and by the way, even though the Stanley Cup has been won by several American teams in the past few years, where do most of the players come from? Oh yeah, Canada.... |

Canada, because they don't try to impose their ideology and even laws on other countries. |

Livier A must be American, she certainly shows typical American arrogance and ignorance: in fact, as a percentage of population Canada has almost exactly double the number of immigrants as does the USA.
In fact it is that American breast pounding arrogance and self absorbed ignorance that is one of the things that makes Canada better today. Canada also has not panicked as the USA did into creating a Soviet-like Gulag for innocent prisoners swept up by post 9-11 overreaction, and Canada is (as yet!) not being subject to pressures from the hypocritical radical Christian conservatives that are plaguing much of the USA.
At the present time there is more human freedom and social tolerance in Canada, and more social and sexual equality. The only point for which the USA has more is in Canada extreme hate speech and incitement can be prosecuted but in the USA such speech is protected by the 1st Amendment in its constitution. And, of course, Canada has a tax-paid medical system for all its people; the USA out of all western democracies still does not.
Just look at the news: at the present time Bush and Cheney are flicking the finger to the American electorate's as if they were dictators, but the American Congress is too scared to really buck them (I don't know if it has been reported in Australia but Bush actually writes something called "signing statements" in which he declares which parts of new laws he will ignore, which seems to me to be reason for impeachment all on its own). |

Depends where your from, if you ask a Canadian then they are gonna say Canada, if you as an American they will answer the U.S. I would have to say the United States, they have a lot to offer people, just think there is appoximately 13 million immigrants, they left their country for a better life in the U.S. How many Immigrants does Canada have? It's all a matter of opinion. |

This is a brawl question! It all depends on who you ask.... I definitely think Canada is better, but that is because I live here. Ask an American and they will probably say the opposite! |

Since we don't elect complete morons to lead our country, Canada wins that one easy. |

Only biased answers will result from this question.
Unless people have lived in both countries, it's all a matter of opinion. Both have a lot to offer (but only under the right leadership). |

The US is a nice place to visit ( and I've visited the US many many times) but I wouldn't want to live there. |
