Nobody. Christmas is prime time travel and there is a premium on all types of transportation at that time of year. However -- you don't say how you plan to travel (plane, boat, bus?) or where you are coming from.
Type 'cheap fares' into your search engine and you'll find a number of companies who offer discounted fares. Whether these are available in the Christmas time slot is something only they could tell you. |

I use United Airlines and usually price their fares through Expedia.com. However, you should book at least two weeks ahead in order to get the lower prices.. Recently I found a price of $210 from New Orleans to Toronto if booked two weeks ahead. |

I am a Canada flight exec. and can highly recommend globespan & Zoom airlines. Have travelled on both and service is of a high standard. If you need domestic flights in Canada check out Westjet also a good airline with even better prices.
