Who would win? Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) or New York City Police Department (NYPD)???
Not that I'd ever want to see a battle between a Canadian authority and a US city, I'd practically side with Canada and/or fight to the death to have New York's police department put under new management immediately.
But hypothetically, which side would win, which side would be more organized? The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) or the New York City Police Department (NYPD)?
Assume the US military is not involved, so no Weapons of mass…..blah blah blah.
Probably the RCMP since they are a national police force and would have the resources of the federal government behind them, as well as probably the resources of the British Commonwealth.

Not a fair comparison The RCMP are national with several divisions includuding local police work .. Go to RCMP web site

Since the RCMP is Canada's equivalent of the FBI in the USA I'd have to give the nod to them. They simply have more resources to draw on.

RCMP without a problem

Being American I'd like to say NYPD, but that would be wrong. The RCMP is the equivalent of the FBI and would really win that one. Maybe if you included more police departments since the RCMP is national.

I can safely say the NYPD would win, not just because of their elite SWAT unit, but they have an array of weapons other police officers do not have access to.

pfffft newyork for sure

NYPD due to the new anti-terrorism technology. The tech that would help them win would be the eye in the sky, a heli that flies so far up you can't see or hear it, but it can track multiple targets on the ground and coordinate the attack or defense.
