Why are there so many hicks in Canada?

Uhhh, I HATE Rush. They bite (and they're from Canada too). USA has PLENTY of dumb hicks south of the Mason Dixon line too. They are a british commonwealth, so that may explain it.

LOL this question is funny. Have you checked out smaller populated states and small towns in the USA?? Its not much different. Try going to a city in Canada. A large city like Toronto, which is very simular to New York city.

There are no more "hicks" in Canada than there are "rednecks" in the US or "whatever you want to call them" anywhere else in the world. As far as I'm concerned, this question was asked to stir things up a bit. Canadians are stereotyped into this personna of beer drinking, "eh" talking, hockey fans or whatever, but there is an abundance of culture in Canada and a history to be proud of. People should get to know people before making judgements about a whole country!!!

it's kinda funny the way culture is, small city=small culture. big city= big culture. That's just the way it is. try looking at small american cities, they aren'tmuch different
