Why are there so many unpleasant attacks on Canada in this section?

Lol I always wondered if the Travel > USA had any of the silly questions but never bothered to look.

I just think they're trying to get us going.

Who knows why people do such things? The reasons often have nothing to do with the subject of that attack. Often the reason is because of the person's own insecurites and sometimes envy or jealousy. Sometimes the first reaction of some people is to criticize something they want but cannot have. Sort of like the "Me thinks thou dost protest too much" quote - they are so interested in Canada, or would so much like to live here, or so envy what Canadians have, etc., they have to cover it up.

i find they're often jealous attacks. they have so many problems in the US that some of them feel the need to bash Canada which is floating along quite nicely. It's pretty sad actually. I'm sorry that they have a joke of a healthcare system and an even bigger joke of a president but it just makes them look like fools when they come on here and start asking if we live in igloos or if a wall should be put up between countries. things like that. I have nothing against Americans, I have lots of family there, but I think there's just a select few that give the rest of them a bad rap.

Why would someone come on Yahoo >Travel >Canada Section and ask such annoying questions that are definitely made up situations from their own imagination....lack of education maybe? I reckon some do this intentionally some not but I don't care anymore cause they just make me laugh

Who is doing the attacking? I am from Canada and live in the USA. I welcome going home just to see the smiling faces of people there. I like it here, but I have always been told that I am too nice.

Maybe they think that their question should be catorized into the Canada section. We (well at least most of us) don't have anything against America, i donno why you would say such a thing. We aren't that quiet just to let you know, we may not have the huge news happening in Canada, but we're a pretty known country in the world. We may not be the richest or the country with the most air pollution, but Canada is a wonderful country.
