Why do so many americans pick on canada?

I think the only ones that pick on us canadians are the ones who cant get in, so dont worry about it, we dont want those ones here anyway. Most Americans are nice to Canadians.

can smoke weed legally if you have prescription/doctors order .. medicinal weed and is controlled.. if it were legal you would see everybody and their dog walkin down the streets passin cops along the way offerin them a spliff.. (it is not that legal yet) but i do agree we have a great country..

It's a great country, we're nice, and if you're telling people you can smoke weed legally, you're going to get a lot of people in a lot of trouble. The only people who can legally smoke weed in Canada are those who have medical certification that the drug is being used for treatment. And that is d+++ hard to come by!

You know that is a great question. I have some friend in the States and they always come here to visit. Everytime they do, the first thing out of their mouths is "Derek, say aboot!" or "Derek, say eh!" The first couple times, it was funny but now it just gets on my nerves. I mean, we dont even say "aboot." I do say "eh" a lot but I cant help that, lol. I agree though, we are nice people.

As someone in the states...I have to defend my self...I do laugh at myself after spending time in Canada, because I do say eh, and aboot, for at least a week after returning to the states. I don't think all Americans make fun of Canada//Canadians, the ones that do, should have to live in the coldest parts of Canada, for a few days, and maybe they will appreciate it the way I do. Actually, I just applied, for my dual citizenship, because my boyfriend lives in Canada, and dual will make it much easier.....

I like Canada, don't u guys have free healthcare! And I hear college is WAY cheaper there. Sounds like a UTOPIA.

They like to think they are better. IE their money is worth more (usually). And they have a bigger army. I am a citizen of both, Canada is where I was born though, but I live in California. It's very annoying to have the way I talk "corrected" all the time, but whatever. Canadians are more accepting of other cultures I guess, even though it seems like America should be.

They are jealous and angry that Canada has stood between Alaska and the lower 48 for so long. Oh yeah, and many French Canadians are bilingual.

if them thar y'alls in downtown 'mericaville just want to believe they are the strong and the brave,..that's ok,...let'em. we prefer the strong silent approach,it's part of the peacemaker approach...
.besides,we do the same to them,I say we are all North Americans,...and ? :)
