We might be boring, but at least we got rid of Celine Dion.

Feliz N
We're too busy drinking beer and watching hockey to have time to be interesting.

They keep a low profile on interesting places, and Canada has many hidden secrets they don't want the world to know about. It's not boring, you just have to know where to go, the right people, and not be passive. I'm not talking about the falls either. Do some research other than Yahoo.

Canada is a fantastic country and not boring at all.
It is safe, we do not carry guns around like in the USA.
We are peaceful and do not put our noses in other countries business.
We do not start wars.
We are polite.
We know geography of the world, not only our own.
Some of us speak French.
We know how to party.
We are not fat.
We are not loud.
We have a beautiful cities, mountains, lakes and more...
Everyone in the world loves CANADIANS!
Come visit.

We just pretend its boring so the ignoramuses stay away.....

PS I also beg to differ with one of the statements above, first of all it isn't winter year round here in Canada (in case you were ignorant to that fact) and secondly I disagree with the statement "There is only so much you can do in the winter.." when in fact there is so much more to do during winter and you don't get eaten alive by mosquitos or blackflies while you are doing it!!

Let me count the ways you can have a blast during just one season in Canada.... Snow machining, Tobogganing, Ice fishing, Snow-shoeing, Hunting, Skating and of course Hockey, Bonfire parties, Camp parties, Sauna followed by a roll in the snow, Countless winter festivals and light shows with spectacular ice and snow sculptures, Cross country and downhill skiing, Snowboarding, and last but not least the Aurora Borealis. As far as I am concerned it's never boring in Canada especially during winter.... you have never had fun until you go on an awesome Snowmachine tour through the winter landscape with a stop at a hunting lodge or two for dinner and hot chocolate, then on to a private camp for a bonfire party with plenty of beer, good friends and a show of the Northern Lights.

We're so boring that Americans like to sew Canadian flags on their backpacks and pretend to BE Canadian when they travel. :P

I know all that hiking through the Rockie's taking in clean air swimming in clean lakes and oceans, shopping in the worlds largest mall seeing glorious fields as far as the eye can see. take a tip to watch polar bears and visiting the worlds largest man made waterfall, not to mention the worlds longest swinging bridge, man made bridge to cross an ocean, paying respects to the lost souls of the titanic laughing at some festival with the worlds leading comics.... yeah its quite a bore

You've obviously never been to Canada. I'm from the UK and Canada is my favourite country in the world to visit. I've travelled throughout Canada. Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are all world-class cities full of culture. The countryside is beautiful; the mountains are lovely, the people are so laid-back and friendly and there's a good dose of culture from Old Blighty (England) which makes me never feel far from home.

I suspect you're an ignorant American who has never left his/her state, judging by your tone.

I give up already...................

Freedom of speech is great when your hidden away.....

I'll use MINE wisely and not answer ignorance today..........

With the second largest land mass in the world and only an est 33 million people they may lack diversity as well as geographically limited to the northen hemisphere. There is only so much you can do in the winter.

Once you cross the border, its all snow, ice and eskimos. Nothing too exciting about that.
