We took our two girls there this summer and it really is spectacular. There is a lot to do to keep you busy for a whole day. We did the Maid of the Mist, the Skywheel, then walked around a lot. The Canadian side is really nice. I have heard that the fireworks over the falls are amazing and I would believe that but we couldn't stay that late. They also have gorgeous lights at night too.

Its one of the world's natural wonders. The Falls are beautiful and mesmerizing to watch. In addition, millions have been spent on other destinations, such as Clifton Hill, hotels and the Casino to attract tourists...there is much more to do now than ever before.

I wondered that on my first trip. Then I saw, from the Canadian side, the American Falls and thought "Wow!".

My hosts laughed because as we turned the corner of the path, we came into sight of the main Falls and my jaw dropped. I have never seen anything like it. They took me, on the boat, up to the edge of the falling water, and through a tunnel behind the falling water.

BTW, I have been a number of times since. we never go into the "funfair" areas at the top of the cliff, because the park and paths are so pleasant beside the Falls.

The water falls are better then most of the mud puddles one can see in the roads these days.
