<<Is it time for America to come in and get the situtation under control?>>

LOL

America can't even control it's own southern border, let alone it's rampant crime rate (* PER CAPITA, Adults processed : United States, 48.029 per 1,000 people // Canada 11.5125 per 1,000 people ). And we've all seen how well US attempts to get foreign situations under control has worked out (ahem) Iraq (ahem).

Amazing to see how sucessful the US has been at social engineering its own populace - by dumbing down its citizens, to the extent that half-wits like "jzwigger" have evidenced.

EDIT:

yes, "scubabob" I've notice jzwigger's apparent infatuation, that - coupled with his quickness to refer to male genitalia ("pecker wabbit"??) and rabid jealousy of all things Canadian - makes me think the poor boy must be tormented by his apparent latent homosexuality, living in such a repressive and homophobic climate....

- no doubt he hates Canada, he probably hates himself!

Interestingly Canada does have a higher crime rate compared to the US in many crimes. These crimes however tend to be drug crimes and property crimes. Where the US gains back it's notoriety is in violent crimes, particularly murder where their rate is approximately 7x what it is in Canada.

Should the US come in and get the situation out of control, well, which would you rather face; having your car stolen, or having someone you know murdered?

As a American who has been to Canada many times, I think that they are doing just fine on their own.

steph
you americans are invading enough countries so stay out of ours
at least the gangs we have our pretty friendly :) not as violent in comparrison to the states and other countries as you don't hear about it on the news very often about gang shootings and such..

Time for America to take control? I think Americans have enough on their plate already and no thanks, we're fine. Peta, this guy really loves you. Makes you wonder about his.....motives, for lack of a proper term :)

America has never been able to get anything under control. Your comments are uneducated and moronic, as usual. It might be interesting if you were able to arrange your thoughts into an educated, coherent argument. You are American, so expecting intelligence is a bit much. You think you're pissing off Canadians but we're just laughing at you.

Keep asking these questions, you are clearly uneducated. The world loves to laugh at Americans, so keep typing. You worthless idiots can't do anything right.

older woman
Excuse me, but you should compile all your facts and get them straight. The United States has more gangs and more drugs than we do.

I think anywhere in the world is dangerous, not because they are in the top survey.. crime is everywhere...

Are you serious?! Or simply trying to get a rise out of people? If, as mentioned before the crime rate is higher, it's because of "petty" crimes, not the insane murder rates in the U.S. I have visited the States and have many American friends, thank God none of them show even an inkling of the ignorance you do. Perhaps, rather than quoting inane, inconsequential information you should do something to improve your own countries situation.
Although even the lowliest of diplomats would slap you in the back of the head for such comments, let alone to your largest trading partner. Yes, thats right, without us poor, seemingly witless Canadians, the U.S. would go bankrupt. This doesn't even address the social and diplomatic problems the U.S has. Let alone Iraq and well, we'll just see what happens with Israel and Lebanon. So, please educate yourself before making a fool out of yourself. A good start would be the dictionary you will inevitably need to decipher some of the larger words I've written.

Oh, I get it! You have a lifetime subscription to the National Enquirer! And that's where you are getting all your wonderful information!
As usual, your take on Canada is garbage, and totally untrue.

America is much more dangerous than Canada. I live in the city of St. John's, and it's a pretty safe place, compared to other cities around the world.

Whatever you are full of shite, lol There is rampant drug use but there is not gangs all over the place and any ones there are came from the US...... I doubt you keep your doors unlocked every night and feel safe, I know I do because I live in Canada and people here are more likely to shoot, deer, moose, grouse than anything else!! The funny part is when I lved by the border, the only murder in 20 years was commited by an American visiting canada...lol Stuff that in your pipe and smoke it!

I can tell you what kind of "gangs" we have harassing people here...bears and raccoons!

There has never been a murder or rape in my town, or gangs or serial killers or gun violence...no one has ever brought a gun to shcool here and shot everyone no one in my town owns a hand gun, geez the worst crime we have is Marijuana growing and trafficking...not even considered a crime by most!!

Excuse me? Canada is everything but dangerous. I, a single woman, can walk the streets at night without being afraid of being attacked, we can probably still count the number of murders we have every year (compared to the US, where you've obviously lost count if you think Canada is dangerous)

Mya J
For one. We can handle our own problems, at least most our gangs don't carry guns. I swear half the elderly in the USA have some sort of firearm on them.

For two. America has enough problems of it's own, I think they should start fixing those before turning to those who have the ability to help themselves.

And finally...

Truthfully, our streets (at least where I dwell) are filled with drug users, homeless, and prostitutes... more so then I would like to see. But it is also filled with wonderful people who'd give you a smile or start a pleasant conversation at the bus stop. There is a politeness that is contagious and an overall cheerful mood even among the unfortunate people finding themselves on the street. We know our faults and we take it up with our slow moving government who turns a deaf ear.

This is more then I can say for America who seem to be blind to their wrongs, cover-up their mistakes with illusions of grandeur and have the most mentally disabled president I have ever seen. Someone throw that man a dictionary.
