Did you know that places like Duluth, MN get a lot colder during the winter then most of Canada? They get a whole lot more snow too.

Better question might be why you'd live in the US what with floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, drought, heat waves, etc, and that is without even getting into guns, crime and politics. Cold, one can dress for, and our summers make up somewhat for our winters. |

It's not cold everywhere.
I suspect you are American; did you know 22 or 23 (it might be more, I don't remember) states reach higher north than the most southern part of Canada?
I live in Northern BC, and I won't go to NYC in the winter because it's too cold. Yet people live in NYC.
(The Atlantic Ocean has something to do with this in case you are wondering). |

23 here today in the Great North of Ontario.....much too hot for my liking. I enjoy the winters, went to Florida on vacation and almost melted........Being sweaty and sticky all day does not sound like fun to me. |
