Why not put Polar Bears on the USA/Canada border? |
And keep the polar bears inside a huge cold walk-in freezer inside the customs office on the border.
Then when Americans start crossing into Canada to go cross-border shopping, let the Polar Bears outside so Americans think there are Polar Bears ALL over Canada.
It would be funny.
Additional Details
When Americans ask why there are Polar Bears there,
the Canadian customs person should say "oh they run freely all over Canada." |

You are not the same Eric that wanted to walk across Canada, are you?
If you dressed as warmly as those Polar Bears do, you would die of the heat anywhere along the 49th parallel for all but a few days each year and then only in a few places. I suppose, if they were not wild animals that have their own ideas about where they want to live, we could put them along the Alaska part of the border. But they are fussy about where they live so they might veto that idea too - and I personally would not want to fight with any one of them about it. :o) |

Um... I don't even know what to say to this. Random I guess... any ways... the border is probably to warm for them, we have them in Church Hill but that's a fair way North from the border. Also, Americans can't be that dense to believe that... can they? Oh well, it would cost a fair amount of money. Polar Bears would also get hurt. To humour you I'll say it's a pretty cool idea, especially if they could train them. Think it would turn tourists away from Canada? |
