If you like mountains, lakes and streams with beautiful scenery plus they make motion pictures and the olympics will be held in western canada next year -- go to British Columbia.
Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan are totally flat lands and are all farm country with real cowboys and they have the calgary stampede.
Ontario is the auto industry area and the gateway into usa. Very interesting province. head offices for Fords and Chrysler's and is separated from detroit mich by a 1 mile wide river.
Quebec is the oldest province in canada and the homes are old with cobble stone roads but Montreal is built in a mountain and its beautiful.
Then we have the Maritimes -- Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island, are fishing country.
So, what is your pleasure and your interests, We have something for everyone and Welcome to Canada.

each and every one!
there are places you'd want to spend less time in, but by and large, you'll have a great time almost anywhere you pick. depends on what you like to do and your style of travel.

Witch part? We don't have witches in Canada - but we do have awesome scenery in every province and if you have the time to take a cross-Canada trek, you will store up a lifetime of memories. It's a beautiful country, each province is unique -- and well worth visiting.

Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise and all the Canadian Rockies areas in Alberta if you like the mountainsa and beautiful scenery and hiking.

Here's my faves:

British Columbia - Vancouver/ Whistler in the winter, Rockies, Redwood Forest, Lake Louise in Banff

Calgary stampede - only go for the stampede though, it's not really worth visiting other times of the year, sorry it's true!

Halifax, Nova Scotia & Newfoundland - scenery is spectacular, you can see whales in Newfoundland, and the Tall Ships festival in Nova Scotia is a big tourist draw every year. Cannot miss the down-home hospitality and friendliness of the maritimers

Quebec City - european cobblestone roads & beautiful architecture

Montreal - have montreal bagels and take a walk along their waterline - very beautiful in the summer

Toronto- for the diversity, for the food, for the shopping

Niagara falls - for the great casinos (oh yeah and the falls too)

Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, most of British Columbia, the mountainous part of Alberta, the Maritimes, especially Newfoundland, because of the great people.

Try to avoid Edmonton or Calgary, though, keep in mind that I live in Edmonton and familiarity breeds contempt. I am sick to death of living in Edmonton, but it might be a nice place to visit, I really don't know.
