Massi is a term in Gujerati (state language of Gujerat in Western India). Gujerati has various terms to describe your aunts and uncles. The term that gets applied is based on the relationship (brother or sister) to you mum or dad. One of those terms in 'massi'. A massi is your mum's sister. However, the term can also applied loosely to friends and acquantainces where you want to show some respect.

MASSI is an acronym that stands for Multi-lingual Access to Social Services Initiative (MASSI).

Multilingual Access to Social Service Initiative (MASSI) is a result of the community input into the 1991 Social Assistance Review Committee report whose recommendations are being implemented by the current Ontario government.

This is probably a stupid answer but the only thing i can think of unless something that's cultural to Canada, a Tractor, i.e Massey Ferguson make, i am not sure apart from that, sorry.
