Canmore!!!!

You'll be right near the mountains Lake Louise, Sunshine and Banff....

You cant get any closer than that unless you can afford to live in Banff!

I agree with everybody, go to Canmore.

The Calgary area is nice, but can be rather expensive. Other alternatives that you might consider could be the Hinton/Jasper/Grande Cache area or the Crowsnest Pass. The line of work you're in/want to be in may also have an impact on where you ultimately decide to move to.

Well, Calgary is only an hour or so away from the mountains so you could live here and still be close enough to snowboard all the time.

Canmore is right outside Banff and is in the mountains. Beautiful place!

You could work in Banff or Lake Louise or Kananaskis and be right next to a ski hill if you wanted to. There are lots of options avaiable.

Not with the oil boom going on out there.
You can get a job in a restaurant paying supe wages but the cost of living there is outragious!!
Rent a dinky little room for $400.00 a month if you are lucky.

Bragg Creek outside of Calgary is very nice but I think it's pretty expensive. I had friends who lived there and commuted to Calgary for work.
I feel like I'm your neighbour - Kitscoty.
