Would you fly to Toronto these days? or better not because it might be dangerous to fly?

I m going crazy thinking and thinking about this trip and I just can't make a decision!
Additional Details
ok, some more info to make it more specifing. it's the bad weather conditions that scare me!!! snow storms, strong winds, low visibility etc.
(p.s. toronto got a lot more snow these days than other years in december).

You're more likely to get in a car accident. Plane accidents are less frequent than you might expect.

Why is it not safe to fly??
9-11 happened years ago and they've upped security since then!

Flying is the safest way to travel.

I'm more scared of being on the ground with a bunch of holiday drunk drivers in the snow, rain, black ice....

yes its safer than driving.....

Wait for a couple of days. Should be ok.

Of course you should fly.

It's a fact that flying is safer than crossing the street.

I've been on over 100 flights this year alone and have never had anything remotely close to bad happen(well, canceled flights and missing baggage aside, lol)

Also, I absolutely hate rollercoasters. But. even the worst turbulence I've ever been in pales in comparison to the kiddie coasters I go on with my 6 year old daughter.

I've been on flights where there have been people that were absolutely terrified of flying. Even the worst Flight Attendents are very good at calming down worried passengers. They must take extra training for that or something, lol.

Good Luck with your decision!

Flying is safer than driving. You'll be fine. If you live in fear, the terrorists win. Just wear shoes that are easy to take on and off.

Sure I`d fly to Toronto. I believe its quite safe. I`d fly to Europe for that metter as well. Relax, enjoy your trip. Remember; when in your seat, allways keep your seat belt on. (it need not be tight)).

jonathanjay743
I say do it. I fly for business, six times this year. Odds are in your favor that you'll be fine.

It would be safe to fly to Toronto. If the weather conditions are bad they would cancel the flight and not fly in a blizzard.

petester
The biggest danger is if the engines on the plane stop working. Then you will be stuck up there forever.

dangerous to fly?

take the damn trip, you're more likely to get hurt typing foolish questions at your computer

bpbjess
Why not? I lived in Toronto until I was 18 and still fly in 3 times a year or more for holidays. I say go for it! You are in no more danger than going to any other airport. If the weather was really that bad, your flight would be delayed one day and that's it.

Chill out :)

Planes can fly safely in alot of bad weather. Its the delays in the airport that you should be worried about.

You are crazy. Go to Montreal.
Toronto is dirty and no culture and the food is terrible.
Montreal is great and the city is open for all kinds of art minded folk and the food is all ole world city.
Toronto has too many street people and they not friendly like Montreal.
Don't waste your money.
