TORONTO IS A PISSHOLE... It's only a 2 hour drive, and I still wouldn't go there...

I live very close to Toronto, actually. I live in Rochester, NY. It is pretty cool, i guess. The CN Tower is cool, though I have never been in there. I went with my family on August 25, 2004, to see the Yankees play against the Blue Jays. The Yankees won (of course. Yankees Rule!), 7-4. We took the Fast Ferry (this ferry thing that goes across Lake Ontario, that is causing a huge hub-bub in Rochester), and when we got off the ferry, there was like a landfill or something. It was gross. I would recommend going though. It was a very unique experience, even though I have been there several times.

I have visited it at least 4 or 5 times. It is a beautiful city. The waterfront area has great entertainment, it also has a Cinatown with really good food. i LOVE IT THERE

i live 20 minutes from toronto and it is a cool city to visit, in my opinion, there is lots to do and excellent shopping downtown. you can also eat any kind of food you could ever imagine in the city!!! i think it is like any big city, but its fun. although there have beeen a lot of gun violence lately!

I've been there once when I was like 17 (I'm 24 now) and I really enjoyed this city, of course, for me, it's was kinda special, It was my first time outta europa (I'm french) and I was really excited. The CN tower is really sthg you have to visit if you ever go there. If had the opportunity, I sure would visit it again...

Someone once said "Toronto is New York run by the Swiss."

It is clean, safe and probably the hippest city on the continent, next to N.Y. (but, more so than L.A.).

Newsweek magazine once rated Toronto the 3rd best place in the world to eat. (Paris and NY were 1 & 2) Every type of food imaginable is in this city.

Time magazine rated Toronto the 3rd best place in the world to see theater (NY and London were 1 & 2). They have more movies houses per capita than any city in the world, and host the most prominent film festival next to CANNES. The theater district reminds you of NY. Most of the same plays are in both cities at the same time.

They have tens of miles of underground city so you never even have to come up for air, and the city is only 1.5 hours from Niagra Falls.

Only N.Y. is bigger and has 'more' to offer than Toronto.

But, you have to love city life. If you are some hick from a small town (even in Ontario), you probably won't dig it (or understand it).

I live in Orange County, CA, south of Los Angeles. I only wish Los Angeles was as hip as Toronto. I'd spend all my time there.

I highly recommend Toronto for 4-5 days (or more).

I go there every week during the summer. I love it! I don't go as much during the winter. They have everything down there.
