I recommend Halifax, Nova Scotia - no French spoken in Halifax.

bro_doogle
In CANADA.... you must also be able to WRITE in the ENGLISH LANGUAGE as well as speak it.

depending on where you're from, your degree may not be accepted here. Lots aren't.

If you're a marine engineer and machinist, try Vancouver. It's right on the water, has a huge boat industry (the marinas go for miles and miles around Vancouver) and aside from that, it's the prettiest place in Canada.

Marine engineer and machinist. Someone mentioned the Liard Ferry. I've been there, you are 200miles from the Arctic Circle in the middle of nowhere.Beautiful country though. Vancouver would more than likely be your best bet but has a very high cost of living. Homes are very expensive. Halifax, on Canada's east coast has a busy port as well, pace is slower, cost of living much less. Almost anywhere on the Great Lakes in Ontario you would find work as well as Montreal in Quebec , but the ability to speak French in Montreal is virtually a must. East coast, west coast, the far north(great money, but extreme weather and long , long, long winters). Great country Canada, get to know your neighbours, helping hands are a tradtion here.
