"woodsy" wedding locations around winnipeg?

Hi, I'm looking for a spot for a wedding in the area surrounding winnipeg. i've already looked at pine ridge hollow. but is there any more nice, really naturally beautiful locations that anyone has seen?
Additional Details
I'd like to find somewhere kinda remote... like quite foresty... but with a spot for a ceremony... if anyone has seen anywhere like that.

Assiniboine Park, St Vital Park, Bird's Hill Park, all have been used for pictures for thousands of weddings, although the ceremony isn't usually there. The Conservatory at Assiniboine Park is used for weddings on occasion.
The one problem with outdoor ceremonies is the weather. Have a back-up location in case the weather is unsuitable. If the weather doesn't allow for good outdoor photos, have a back-up day for the photographer to re-create your outdoor post-wedding shots.
Usually Winnipeg has a lot of nice weather over the summer, disrupting very few outdoor plans, but this summer we had many more days of rain than usual.

Labarriere park, just on the west side of St.Norbert is beautiful. There's also Bird's Hill Park, north of Winnipeg on hwy 59. St. Malo park south of WPG on hwy 59. Best wishes and congratulation. There's also the Grotto in St. Malo. It's an outdoor church that can be used for all denominations and is very beautiful.

Stonewall also has a beautiful little park with old kilns that are beautiful backgrounds.

St. Norbert ruins are incredible and would make for wonderful pictures as well.

Bel Acres Golf and Country Club puts on beautiful weddings.

The Hitching Post on Hwy 6 is very country and outdoorsy and obvioulsy holds weddings (the name may have given it away!)

Good luck!

Beaudry park is nice, right by the Assiboine River. Its not far from the city, about 15 mins from the perimiter on Roblin Road.

Don't forget Kildonan park is also a popular location for wedding photos. For a more exotic location, you could check with the Assinaboine Zoo and see if they allow photos in their rain forest exhibit.

There is Kings Park as well. I have seen weddings there in the past (when I used to live in Winnipeg). The gardens and water features (water fall and bridges) are really quite pretty. My friend was married there and then the reception was at the Faculty Club at the university (just down the street from the park).

Also, there is the old ruins in St Norbert. They have Shakespeare plays there during the summer but I have been there during the day and it's really gorgeous. There is the little river that runs along there too so it's quite nice.

Here's a link with some info

I saw someone mentioned St Malo. I used to go for day hikes in the area and loved it too! There is a little lake and beach there too. That would definitely be a place I would consider!

Cheers!

I forgot to add... the Canoe club (if it's still there). My friend got married there and it was nice. There was the option of having hte outdoor wedding and moving in if it rained. It rained on her wedding day so it ended up being inside.

We had our Wedding at Pine Ridge Hollow. It was amazing...since you are not interested or can't get the date you want...Go golfing. Golf courses are generally the nicest places within the city.

I've been to a few weddings here near Windsor Park.

Friend got married here last year by the U of M...the U of M is taking over this property sometime down the line just so you know.

My sister got married here. It's an old fort hidden along the river in St.B very cool depending on your budget they rent out actors to wear traditional french Canadian garb and play traditional music etc.

Hope this helps.
