3 Students looking for best spots in Jamaica for Partying and Fun? |
Me and 3 Friends are planning a Trip to Jamaica for the beginning of July. Originally I was looking to stay in Hedonism II but heard it was far off from other places or party spots. All Inclusive is an important factor to our trip because being poor students who love to party we want our alcohol to be covered in the price. Where would you recommend the best resort for 3 guys looking to party a lot and not be completely limited to the hotel. A resort with people our age would be nice.
Thanks for your help |

Sunset Beach, Montego Bay... you get free passes to Margaritaville which is the hottest club around.
Hedonism is for naked people so dont go there. The site below has a list of hotels and links to their websites. |

We liked the royal decameron its AI and walking distance to margaritaville and tons of bars and shops the pork pitt is within walking distance it looks like a hole in the wall but its awesome food. They also give you a free shuttle to this hot club i cant remember the name of it though. You can get some good deals on all inclusives from Canada and the US at this site http://redhotescapes.com/ |

Hedonism II is near Negril, which has quite a few rowdy places to party if you want to but why worry about that when you can have plenty of fun at the resort.
The Sandals and Grand Lido's are also all inclusive resorts, but you won't find as many singles there, mainly couples. You could look into renting a house somewhere near Montego Bay. Friends have done that and have spent just about the same money as they would have in a resort.
Check with a professional travel agent. They will know how to find the best deals and the best places to party like you want to. |

Your better bet would be Hedo 3. Its on the other side of Jamaica in Runaway Bay (as opposed to Hedo II in Negril), but you can always venture off to Ocho Rios at night time or a place called Flavours has a good beach party scene. I've been to Hedo 3 twice and it was perfect for me and my two friends (girls) and we were ages 23-25 when we went. Our travel agent recommended Hedo 3 for us because Hedo II is geared more for older swingers. So unless your into that, Hedo 3 is the place to be. We met so many people our age there from all over the place. It's so much fun!
Both Hedonism resorts are all inclusive so all drinks (including alcohol) and meals are free.
I also believe when you stay at Hedo 3 you have privileges to the Breezes resorts as well. Both have discos (clubs) at the resort. But, Breezes is a family resort so it won't be as wild as Hedo 3.
You can go to the Hedonism website and check out what kind of groups will be at the two hotels during each week. My friends and I went with the DBKS group (Da Best Kept Secret - which is a group of larger women) and we still had a great time. We kept all the other men that weren't into that entertained.
Hope this helps you decide. |

"All inclusive is an important factor to our trip because being poor students who love to party we want our alcohol to be covered in the price." Wake up!!! You pay twice as much at an all inclusive and the food is edible at best. If you drink beer you'd be surprised how cheap Red Stripe is and how many cases you'd have to buy to equal the price of the board at the resort. If you drink top shelf scotch, forget it because you get to drink what the all inclusive serves which will be the cheapest stuff they can get. Head for a regular hotel in Negril and claim 3 or 4 bar stools at the beach bar. |

Go to Negril ! That's where all the parties are at and Sandals Resort in Negril is really nice. |

The all-inclusive resorts are very expensive. You can stay at the cliffs in Negril at Blue Castle for very cheap ($50-$75 a night that sleeps 3-4. Frig in room to keep Red Stripe. Bars across the street. The driver on staff will take you to nightspots. If you're looking to party in Jamaica; you'll find it.
Enjoy. |
