Puerto Rico again. I love having fun all the time, family around you, going to the mall whenever you want, see some friends, go to the beach, travel to another pueblo. All of those things that i don't do here in Connecticut cause it's sooo boring, cold and don't have any family near to enjoy all the fiestas and celebraciones. You gotta spend all the xmas holidays indoors cause its too cold to be outside. And you can amanecerte outside without neighbors calling the cops on you. |

If the reason for leaving PR is because of the weather, don't go to LA, it's hot there too.
My suggestion, wait until you go to college, then try to be accepted at a university in NYC, Massachuetts, or even New Hampshire. This will give you a change in climate (at least in the winter) and leaves the door open if you want to return to PR.
If you want to go to UK, think of what you need to get there. Like passport and money. The UK's currency is pounds and the exchange rate is about $.50 to a pound. So it can be more expensive.
If you want to see what the world has beyond the boundries of PR, then look into an exchange student program (with your parents blessings of course). This way you experience another country, does not cost too much, and if you find you miss being in PR you can return with not problems. |
